It's that time again. Time to shut the door on 2005 and open the door to 2006. New Years has always been signified as a time for reflection and hope. Oh yeah, and lots and lots of alcohol.
As this year comes to an end we find ourselves staring down the barrel of goals we never met and promises we didn't keep. New Years goals suck. But even if we don't officially list them most people have goals they set for themselves in hopes that 2006 will be their lucky number and give them that special something to stop smoking, lose weight, ask out that cute coworker (bad idea in my opinion) and generally become the person they have failed to be at any other part of the year. My suggestion to you is to not give up and set those goals when you are ready. Don't wait for some magical date to appear on the calendar.
I hope that this year is filled with happiness for all and that we can find hope in our hearts to make trying times better. Please have a safe and enjoyable New Years.
