A coworker was at the laundrymat last night and put a dollar in the vending machine to get a snack. The machine malfunctioned and dropped a ton of snacks at once. She couldn't find anyone there (which is normal) and ended up taking it all. Today she was asking if this stealing. My answer was technically yes, but then again there was no one to call on the machine and no one in the laundrymat.

What would you do?

Ummmm... I'd take a few, & leave the rest for the next person. What I took, I'd share with family & friends. It'd kinda pay me back for all the times I lost money in machines throughout the years, so I wouldn't feel like I was ripping them off.
