EVICTED!

So now the news from New Orleans is that tenants that have not paid their rent for September (when their apartments were underwater & they weren't allowed to live in them, & these same people had no jobs) are getting eviction notices- OKd by a NO judge.

Some landlords just never cease to amaze me.

What do you think about this situation?

To be completely honest here, I could really care less. Here in Houston we've gotten close to 150,000 refugees, and they don't really seem to be all that interested in bettering their lives. Some of the poor people here haven't been able to get into housing due to the influx of evacuees. People that came to attend the World Series were not able to even stay in town because these people are still here, living off the city's tit, not working or even trying to find gainful employment.

Now, I'm well aware of the fact that some evacuees are busting their asses to get work and get a permanent place to stay. Good for them. But, make no mistake, they are not the majority.
