Here's a two parter for you!

1. Where do you prefer to be on your off time? Why do you prefer it?

2. Where do you prefer to live and why?

Im a water person I grew up living on a headland that juts out into the ocean and I still live there. The sound of the ocean is like background music for me its been there all my life and I never notice it till Im away from home. My biggest joy in most days is something as simple as coming home from work my drive home takes me past the water and I doubt I have ever passed it and not turned my head to look. Its my solace in times of trouble and my play ground since childhood. Life away from the ocean would be no life at all for me. Im a coastal species and proud of it

When I have time to play, I love Vegas. I don't even gamble, except for about $20.00 in nickel slots. It turns out those little tiny drinks you get for free when you stand around and give money to the mafia are perfect for me. I can have about three of them before I'm knackered. My friends and I really like to go dancing in Vegas. The clubs are open until sunrise.

I really love driving to nowhere in particular. I find used book stores, record stores, wacky parts of town...all kinds of stuff.

If I'm not hanging out with friends, I like to read and watch movies. I'll hide in my condo for an entire weekend with rented movies. The only problem with this is my disturbing inability to return the damn movies on time. I've likely provided very healthy holidy bonus checks to all Blockbuster staff with my late fees. In fact, I've avoided renting a movie for about three weeks because I'm afraid to go in there and see what I owe this time.

Where do I prefer to live? hm. California: I really loved living in old(e) town Orange. Historic city. I never lived in the older part of Fullerton, but I think I would like it. I like the older architecture (I'm positive I've mispelled that) and the friendly people there. I live in Irvine currently. I don't like it as much as Orange, but it will do. It's so generic here. Everything is a pre-fab-pleasing-to-the-eye bore. *sigh* I don't really want to stay in California, but I don't know where I want to go, either. I guess I need to get out and explore.

My goodness, that is just the prettiest thing I've seen that ain't a woman! You live there? It looks like heaven. What do you mean by turning into a yuppie town?

Our town was originaly a fishermans town land was cheap and it was a working class place. Now if you dont have a spare million dollars dont even look at buying a place out here. A vacant block of land in our area is now worth four to five hundred thousand. The affluent types as aussie calls them are moving in and us effluent types are being forced and bought out. :( Money sux sometimes.

Mountains and sea all the way. There's no other experience that makes you more humble in the face of mother nature.

Ain't that the truth! I could sit and just listen to the sounds of the forrest and nothing else.
