What makes you despise a person? The way they act, look, a gesture, ect.....???

Despise, huh? You mean like a chick trick? I've never been able to figure that one out. I base it in instinct. Here's my two cents worth:

1. In nature the animals shun the weaker. Even kill. They threaten the rest of the pack when prey attacks and the future generations. That saying, You are only as strong as the weakest link, comes into play.

2. Now the chick trix is something I can't explain. What about you? Why do women feel an automatic dislike/threat/jealousy towards another woman [for the most part]? Even when they are not romantically involved with the person they are trying to hoard.

I'd love to hear the guys' view, too. Eh hem

I tend to despise people who cross me, although paedophile's and rapist's are there at the top of the list, you can put muggers on the list with them too.
I despise the upper classe's, the royal family and, most of all the French.

I'd have to say people who use other people for their personal gain. Whether it be emotional, financial or status... I loath those that would use another person and then toss them aside when they got what they wanted.

i despise the husband of my best friend, even though i've never met him

i call him 'neanderthal'

he's obnoxious to her. yes she stays and that's her choice and i regret that i cant get her to see things differently and i'm really really clear on this

and i still hate the SOB for being such a backass prick as not getting his own glass of milk for dinner; accusing her of stealing when he loses something; etc ad nauseaum. just because she's willing to stay doesnt give him any right to treat her like he does. period.

curiosity has me wondering what a beast looks like and also could i resist groin-kicking him to his knees if i ever met him

You're a good friend, NewEngland Chick. I come in peace. I'm waving the white flag. And I have my safety 'cup' on.

I despise people for no reason at all. Not many, but some people just aren't my cup of tea. It's kinda weird. I base it on instinct, I guess. And lack of trust for them. I hate fake people and bullshitters.

there are times i think it would be worth the money to get a *serious* dominatrix on him - get him humiliated and subservient -- his arrogance is just begging to be whipped onto his knees and disgraced; see how big a man he is then

i despise lack of intelligence. i despise the people that judge me for the way i look. they see a 5ft3, 120 lb girl with green hair, piercings, tats etc coming at them, and they hide their purses.. dont worry grandma, ive got more money than you'll ever have
