HARRISBURG (http://www.nypost.com/news/nationalnews/42783.htm), Pa. - A truck crashed on Interstate 81, spilling its fuel and payload of broccoli all over the highway, causing a fire so big that authorities thought a plane had crashed when they first arrived on the scene. "There was steamed broccoli all over 81," firefighter Brad Reist said.

Truck driver Armando Palmas, 35, of Mission, Texas, walked away from Saturday's crash with burns and cuts, but was admitted to a hospital, where he was listed in fair condition. Police charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol and other violations.

"The driver was walking around on the scene," Reist said. "I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it."

The northbound lanes of Interstate 81 were closed for most of Saturday while the fire was put out.

I knew they could cause gas... but this is rediculous. I wonder where eyespy was in all of this.... Hmmmm...
