My boss can be a major hard-ass at times, but yesterday she kicked ass. I hobbled into work and showed her my toe. She confirmed it was broken and then asked me to describe where I tripped. Sure enough it was the same spot my coworker fell a few months ago. She went down and raised hell, then emailed the higher ups to raise more hell. By mid morning they had agreed to paint the cement blocks (if anyone can tell me what the hell they're called I'd appreciate it. It's driving me batshit) and put up a sign. The funny part is, I didn't even fuss about it. I chalked it up to me being klutsy. After all, it's a parking lot and those things are everwhere. It was nice to see my boss tear someone else a new one. :whome:
