View Full Version : 5 AM
It's five in the morning. My favorite time of day. So calm and peacefull. The Zombies are playing through my speakers. And my Dog is sleeping on my couch. Or so she wants me to think. I see her looking at me with one eye open. She knows she's caught and starts wagging her tail.
This is the best time of day . All seems right in the world. For the moment at least. Soon the day will start and all the turmoil involved.
Why can't it stay 5 forever?

Why can't it stay 5 forever?
...because people like me would stay braindead forever if it did!I don't wake up until about 10 AM
I feel the same way about evenings! I LOVE floating around in my boat- the day's starting to cool down, the fish are splatting the top of the water for bugs, bats are starting to come out & fly around, and usually any wind drops off & it gets really still! If biting bugs didn't exist, this would be the epitome of perfection!
I would be in Heaven doing that! I'm happiest when I'm at a river, lake or pond.I like it first thing in the morning. Just me, a fishing pole and a bucket of worms. It doesn't even matter if I catch any fish. I just enjoy being there. After a hard week of dealing with people it is the most relaxing thing in the world. It is the epitome of perfection.
I've been reading through the stuff I have posted here. Damn I miss that dog.

I love the tube tunnels at 6am before the masses start rushing through the city of London. You may walk through oxford street when no one is there apart from two or three hard core partiers just going home.
Another one is the last ski run of the day before going back to the hotel or flat and looking forward to that night's dinner and entertainment.

And here I thought 'It's five o'clock somewhere' was referring to the end of the day.

@aldryic: end of a ski day is an end of day of sorts.
