Cool little quiz and site. Basically, you take a quiz about how you feel about regulations and the like and then you are told where on the island of Politopia you are most likely to reside!
It's fun, check it out!

South-You are a Southerner-an egalitarian-which means that you advocate an increased role for the government in the economic realm. You are more or less pleased the government's role in the personal realm.

Centerville-You would feel most at home in Centerville, which means that you are more or less pleased the status quo-you think the US government has just about the right amount of control over your economic and personal decisions. Your neighbors include democratic and republican party leaders and others who call themselves "moderates" and "centrists."
Well then.

And I'm in the last "s" och Jesse Jackson, just under FDR.

South West - You would feel most at home in the Southwest region You advocate a large degree of personal freedom and a large degree of government control over the economy. Your neighbors include such folks as Jesse Jackson, Ralph Nader, Hillary Clinton, and Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against the Machine, and may refer to themselves as "liberals," "left-wing liberals," "civil libertarians," "democratic socialists," "egalitarians," or "anarcho-socialists."

South, pretty much in Thaum's position. It's nearly as good as politicalcompass, but I have to question the shameless tendentiousness of that question asking whether you think the government should "prop up" third world nations...I was so irritated I clicked "A" anyway. It's also obviously a US-relative poll, so when I say I want to control immigration, the US context (with its huge land mass and depopulated flyover states) isn't really a fair one to gauge European political attitudes.
i'm in centreville... right next door to John K apparently... does it count if i'm canadian? hehe
