What is the worst imaginable thing that could happen to you personally
For me it would be to be buried alive. Whats yours?

Seeing Diva's titties cook?

OOPS, wrong thread

I mean ... probably getting burned alive.

My biggest fear is needing someone to take care of me. Being paralyzed. Having my wits about me but no physical ability to do anything.

I used to think Alzheimers was possibly the worst thing that could happen to me, but I believe it is actually worse for those who care about the person.

Now I'm going to go in the corner and cry, or something.

Being shopped by a secret shopper!!! That will be my undoing.... I'm not really a sales person. To say things the way Verizon want's me to sale HA! Not this girl.....

Buried, burned, shoppers, assfangspoop, underwater, alzheimers
I judge nobody, everyday

... berly got it right

Alzheimers is the worst!

It's one thing to know a man, another to clean up ... "movements". Actually, taking care of him was something I wouldn't give away for the world.

Thank's berly,
whoever you are.

You are quite welcome, boogiedude.

My Grandmother and 5 of her siblings (there were nine of them all together) all fell victim to Alzheimers. Taking care of her nearly killed my Grandfather, although he would have it no other way (and neither would the rest of us.) It broke his heart, and although I know hers was broken too, she died from hers long before it was all over - if you know what I mean.

I second that emotion!

After 14 years of working at a major Medical Center, I can say that I have just about dealt with every known illness. I've found that what's helped the most is treating the person like they are a human being, instead of someone dying. It gives them some dignity and helps to ease fears. I've seen death and I've looked into someone's eyes as they were dying. As terrifying that drowning or burried alive sounds... It's nothing when the moment arrives. I guess dying is the worst of fears. The moment when you know. And you don't know for sure if anything happens next. We can list our religions and their stories, but no one truly knows about what happens until it's their turn. When they say that life is for the living, I understand. Not by your successes or hobbies. You don't have to climb mount Everest to 'live'. Being here, sharing with you guys and gals... Reaching out and pulling back a new friend. I'm living. :)

When I was 11 I got caught in an undertow in France. I tried yelling for help but the current sucked me righ back under. I think they thought I was having fun. Morons. It was like being in a washer. I would just reach the top only to be hurled into the sand below. When I didn't come up, some guys realized I wasn't some dippy blonde bobbing in and out of the water, and jumped in to save me. I thought I was going to die. I remember the feeling of nothingness. But I was so scared. Mine wasn't peaceful.

Not sure what all this fear of water is with you guy's. I love to swim!

I have taken a dump in 2 oceans, 2 gulf's, 3 seas, several dozen lakes/ rivers and way too many pools to remember. And one suitcase but that doesn't count cause it was in the back of my dad's stationwagon.

My truthful biggest fear is losing a loved one again.......Whether it's my friend, cat, parent, boyfriend, anyone who I love.....I just don't think I could take it again. I know death is inevitable, but damn it hurts. Another one would to be mangled in a car wreck......I've been watching Faces of Death too much.

Stop watching those movies!!!! I hated them. Poor monkey.

I know how hard it is to lose someone you love. You become powerless to help them or guide them to safety. All you can do is hope that they are fine. If I spent every waking moment of every day with them, I'd still feel like I needed one last time. Like it wasn't enough. But deep down in my heart, I know that it was. Everything has been resolved one way or another. Whether it's your concience or a last minute I'm sorry... When the eyes close all unfinished business is null and void. Now all we have is memories and smiles.
