Did you know that you can list the latest posts on NCT in Trillian Pro?
Doing so is pretty easy, and a tutorial follows to show you exactly how, step by step.
First you'll need Trillian Pro. You can purchase it at http://www.trillian.cc/ but for the purpose of this tutorial we will assume you have it already.
Second you will need the News Plugin (http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/downloads/item_download.php?id=140).
This will allow you to download RSS feeds from various sites, including NCT. Simply download the software, close Trillian, and run the executable file.
Once you have the plugin installed you will need to configure it to display NCTs feed. Doing so is pretty straightforward. Open Trillian and enter your preferences menu. You can do so by selecting Trillian from the menu, then Preferences. From here you will want to click on the Plugins option.
In the Plugins display click the checkbox next to the News 2.0 by Crulean Studios option, then click on the News 2.0 by Crulean Studios words. The background should change and a button will pop up that says Change. Click this.
In the popup you will want to click the Add Custom Feed button. Then fill out the form as follows:
Title: No Chick Trix
Server: www.nochicktrix.com
Location: forum/external.php?type=RSS
The rest can stay default. Simply click the Save button, then OK in the News window, then Close the preferences window.
The last 10 posted topics should now show up in your My Web section. Enjoy!
