I'd have to go forward 12 months to see what the fuck had been done to Bin Laden. If fuckall had happened, I'd come back and kick Blair's arse into gear for lying to his electorate. Going back in history would'nt be the correct way to do things as cause and effect on these events may alter everything since that event. Going forward in time to see whats happened! then comming back to change a future that has'nt happened yet is a more logical approach.

I was sitting around today delving into Nochicktrix history and reading some of the old threads. It struck me as strange that no one is still commenting on some of them like this one.
So if you could go back in history and change things what would you change? Would you like to just once see the indians with a tank so they could kick John Wayne`s arse (thats ass for the americans) or for those who have a more noble streak perhaps you could do some thing to bring about an end to world poverty or stop a war.
What would you change?

I'm really not sure I would change anything. I'm one of those "everything happens for a reason" folks. If I hadn't made all the choices I'd made up until this point, I wouldn't be who or where I am right now. That could be a bad thing, but it could be a good thing. there was an episode of the newer version of the Outer Limits where some lady travelled back in time from who-knows how far into the future in order to pose as a nanny and become the nanny in charge of taking care of Hitler as a baby so that she can kill him and stop everything that he does. So the end twist is that she takes the baby Hitler and runs away and throws herself and him off a nearby bridge, but right after she does that, the other nanny sees them dead, and then she goes and steals the male baby of some poor beggar woman who had been hanging out nearby the house throughout the episode. She took the baby inside, dressed it in the real baby Hitler's clothes, and the parents never even knew the difference

That whole show just came to my mind when I was reading through this thread.

The only problem was that there wasn't a nonny in the first place. Hitler's mother was a hooker & he never knew who his father was. His start in life was VERY disfunctional & to understand how he got to the insanity he ended up doing, read about him. REAL scary dude as his life progressed. Unfortunately, he had the opportunity & 'help' to carry out his insanity, and millions of people paid with their lives.

I did know that he wanted to be an artist before the whole dictator thing came about, and that he only painted landscapes and they were bad landscapes at that....which made me laugh at first but then made me sad, just think if they had been good!?
