NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio -- An alleged peeping Tom remains in the intensive care unit after reportedly being assaulted with a tree branch, NewsChannel5 reported.

Officials said Mario Russo, 44, was attacked after he was spotted outside a bedroom window wearing his pants around his ankles and watching a 5-year-old girl who was sleeping in a unit at the Bunker Ridge Apartments. Russo was reportedly hiding in bushes.

Police said after he was discovered a group of six people, include the girl's mother, aunt and their boyfriends attacked him and brutally beat him for more than an hour.

The sad part is now the 5 yr old girl that they were protecting is without them. It's one of those stories that makes you want to cheer, and yet the bottom line is that they went too far. At least the guy wont be doing that again... or escalating it and raping a child.

They guy deserved what he got but it's kinda messed up how the justice system doesn't see fit how karma bit him in the ass.

The girl's aunt admitted to sexually assaulting Russo with a tree branch, police said.
I wouldn't exactly say it bit him, J.... :D

The guy did deserve what he got, but even in a courtroom with all of his offenses stacked up against him, the jury's still not going to be able to rationalize their beating him for over an hour. I can understand beating the living crap out of him for about five to ten minutes, but for over an hour seems a bit excessive, regardless of what he's done. I personally think he deserved every nanosecond of the beating, mind you, but I can see why the jury didn't see fit for the beating to last so long....

How do you sexually assault someone with a branch though, by hitting them, by shoving it up their ass?

Would you really sexually assault someone with a branch?

At least it's not a tree trunk

Lucky they didn't have a javelin

Would I? I cant see myself doing that... Yet in the heat of the moment I cant say what I would do. I cant imagine seeing a man standing outside my five year old daughters' bedroom window with his pants around his ankle and jerking off while watching her sleep and not becoming unglued. While what they did was excessive, he destroyed the simple right of feeling secure.

I'm not saying anything positive about the wanker. I'm speaking about instinct with branches when attacking someone. It's not the first thing I'd do. (anal branching...)
