Yesterday my boss decided was 'let's see how many times I can degrade Diva' day. She does this to each one of us, so I guess I should be used to it. She just picked the worst week for it. She talked so much shit the room started to smell. When it was all over... I was still right. It's amazing how some people feel the need to make other people feel bad in order to make themselves feel important. She told me to give her info to overlook before checking on it, then bitched at me for not checking on it. She had this 'great new way' of checking a report that was EXACTLY what we were doing. I spent half the meeting defending myself and the other half staring in amazement. Later on a doctor calls who is also a friend. He's updating his info and I email him the official paperwork to fill out while chatting with him. He faxes it back and I start entering. My boss jumps at me as soon as we're off the phone for not following procedure. That's when I get my revenge. Everything she 'tells me to do' I get to say in a bewildered tone 'I did that'. In the end she says, "Oh. Good then." I simply say, "You know what... I DO know my job. I am a good employee." and walk away. She spent the last part of the day trying to sweet talk her way out of why she was such a bitch to me. I guess 17 years of knowing the rules wasnt enough for her. :finger:

Today I stood for 4hrs in the rain because of my work, I got soaked, my shoes which are waterproof were leaked into from my trousers and I remained wet until I got home. There are some things you comment about for the fun of it, others for pity. I'm doing it for the fun of it.

Next time you travel think of those people standing outside in the rain dealing with your oversized baggage, push chairs etc.

I hope I am correct in saying this. You only seem to have one of them (boss) that does that to you. I have four. Finding a day to remain good is almost impossible for me because the wife will most surely screw up my only off days.

I have a different boss/chief every day, and different teams for every machine. This means group dynamics become quite a bit more complicated. You may be in one team and it works well but half an hr later you may be in another group where the group dynamics are crap.

If you're unsociable you'll be forgotten, as happened to one guy yesterday I think.
