What are the age limits in your country? In mine, The good Ole US of A, it's pretty uneven. At 16 1/2 you can drive with a permit as long as someone else is in the car with a valid license. Like they can jump into action if something should go wrong! At 18 you can vote and get your drivers' license without parental consent. You can also go to war. But, you can't drink or gamble until you are 21. At 17 you can be tried as an adult. Any comments? Thoughts? Ideas? Valid reasons?

In the UK we can drive a car at 17 with full licence (or under supervision if on learners permit).
Drink and vote at 18.
Smoke at 16.

What part of the U.K are you from? Zaphros;
Where I live they steal cars at 10 years and upwards without even a provisional license, They are usually smoking and drinking at this age too! guess thats due to the stress of driving, gymslip mothers are everywhere, the schoolboys responsible are gambling on who'll get the blame for it!.
You can be tried for murder at 10 years of age, a good thing in the "Bulger case". I think that the Army will take you at 16 but you have to complete the training before you can go to war.

And before you say it; It's Liverpool I'm on about here....
