the world ended tomorrow, an abrupt
cease of existence ---
Would I have known me?
What if...
time stopped momentarily and
dropped me into an abyss of uncertainty --
Could I be sure I was alive?
What if...
all love dissipated and no
feeling remained ---
Would I have ever felt love?
What if...
the Human Race existed in harmony
with no mortal conflict ---
Would there be a Human Race?
What if...
I obliterated all thought of
"What if" in my head ---
Would I obliterate myself?
Would I obliterate dreams?
I would obliterate life.
