View Full Version : The 'Almost' Finished Board
I am going to bed. I have worked through the night and cant keep my eyes open. What I would like for you to do is post any problems you encounter on this thread so that I can fix it.
I know the shoutbox isnt up... but it will be. The Levels will be fixed also. The avatars have to be organized... which means you will have to choose them again if I dont fix it beforehand. The personal avatars 'should' still be there.
Sorry guys.... I was hoping to finish it.

Looks good, I like the new visual style. Only issues I've encountered are:
- I wasn't cookied any more so I had to re-login. (Although I do periodically flush my cookies, so perhaps that was me.)
- The galleries aren't up (but you probably knew that and are getting around to it).
The cookies are a normal issue. Some people may have to actually wipe their cookies because of the format change, as vb3 changed some of the variables it uses in the sessions.
As far as the upgrade, I'd love to be the first to say how proud I am of how well you did upgrading this. :) Fantastic Job!
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: gettemplate() in /home/diva/public_html/forum/vbs_error.php on line 206
When trying to log into the admin cp. I assume its because I got a 404 and you are still using the old vbstats error system as a custom 404 page.
Bane is actually correct for once! O_o. :p. Anyways, gettemplate is a vB2 function, so any knowledgeable person would be able to pick that up right on the spot. :P
Just had to pick on ya, Bane. ;)
Darlin', you're doing a great job. Just don't be so hard on yourself. It takes time to do something like this. Like I said, you're doing a great job. Don't be so hard on yourself.
* Boozer gives Diva a patented big Boozer bear hug.
Great job Diva, I know what effort goed into upgrading from vb2 to vb3 as I did it myself this weekend. One thing that looks a bit crooky is the Forum List box on the homepage. But it only seems to happen in Mozilla.
* Ice Man stands and applauds Diva in her accomplishments.
I love the Arcade Games! A full blown hit Diva! :)
Looks great, Diva!!! :cheesy:

A lot of stuff only happens in Mozilla. :P
I'm willing to bet she thinks that it's a sign from God that I need to use IE instead, but I love Firefox.
* JakeD puts Firefox on CD and then stuffs it into his pants.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........
Oh, sorry. *blush*
I love Firefox, too, but I doubt I'd go THAT far, JakeD! :P
Diva - I'm lovin' the new layout AND the arcade! Although, my competitive spirit seems to be getting the best of me.
* entipy curses and shakes her fist at the SPEAR TOSS game
Question: If one is browsing the forums for longer than 20 minutes now, does it still mark everything read? and does time spent in the arcade count, too?
I think it still does. So you'd better check it between games. :D ;)
For some reason, I keep locking up when trying to play some of the games. Well two of them anyway. Blackjack and the Simson shooter thingy. It may be on my end. I will try when I get home.

Honey, you rock!
My only qualm is that the buttons on the top all look the same, but three of them are menus. I think it would be cool if the menu buttons looked slightly different. For the longest time, I thought the Chat was gone because it was hidden in a menu.
Edit: Also, the "quick reply" function automatically subscribes you to the email notification of the thread. I think the default should be on non-notify.
I've never had the quick reply auto subscribe me for anything. I think you have to change that in your preferences.
