Memorial Day is coming up... which means cook outs, sales and trying to remember what the day is for. For long weekends in general, what would your perfect plans be?

My weekends all seem to be the time everyone needs help with stuff. ;). So that would be my plans. :p

Mowing lawns, fishing, helping my brother move a truck, helping a buddy move, bbqing, and sleeping in are all on my agenda for the weekend. That, and hanging up my American flags and POW/MIA flags once I finally get my flag poles in the ground.

This past weekend, I spent time with my brother and his family that came down here from St. Louis, and my other brother's family came too, and he brought his 4-wheeler...I put about 30 miles on it Saturday alone. Ben came down and met the clan lol I actually had to beg him to come but that was only because he was hungover Saturday morning. We rode around, I showed him around where I live on the 4 wheeler, he talked to my family (they loved him!!!) and we went out to eat. Then, I spent the rest of the weekend at his house, and we went bowling, our usual weekend routine. Sunday, we watched the 3rd installment of Lord of the Rings...which kinda sucked, because I never saw the 1st one, and only saw parts of the 2nd one. THEN, we cooked out Monday. Awesome weekend.

I recommend that from this day forward and with this particular board setup people refrain from one line posts, simply because when there is only one line it takes time to find where he body of the message is hiding.

I don't mean to be a critique for what Diva is doing, just encouraging every member of this board to avoid one liners as they're too short to be effective.

just 2 centimes worth.

I think one-liners are fine and often quite effective.

Besides that, some of the threads on here are meant to be one-liner threads. "Name Game" and "SPAM" etc.

If there's something you want to suggest to make the board better, please do. I dont mind it at all. There are many times when 'a one liner' is appropriate and I dont want people to shy away from posting because we expect some sort of 'minimum' answer. Are you saying the boxes are too small?

I put an extra space on the end. Is this what you mean?

Do tell? What if all I have to say only fits on one line? Should I do it as such:

Do Tell?

What if all I have to say only fits on one line?

Should I do it like this?

Don't bash me, Diva. That, if you ask me is a way of censorship and I know how you feel. I did read your reply. GRRRRRRRR! to all who oppose the master......*wait, that is not supposed to be here! Please ignore that last statement as I am just trying to fill in MORE lines.

Weekends? What the hell are those?

I dunno, ideally I like to try and sleep. Any vacation less than five days long, I use to play catch up. Anything more and I'm happy to attempt to do something more exciting. Like eating.
