View Full Version : Movies! Movies! Movies!
Of these three options, which do you do more than the other two? For the members: Do you prefer movies vs videos?
Personally I'd prefer to watch a movie in a nice theatre but I am driving away from them because it seems to become more and more common practice these days to put the sound volume to deafening heights. Are we all getting DEAF?
I watch rentals more.
I do own over 800 movies though.
Recently, I was told by the local video store manager that I have rented 2400 movies since their opening.
Man, I could really use that money now. That's $2.68 each equaling around $6420.00.

I watch them in movie theaters. I would never THINK of downloading. Downloading is wrong... I would never do it.
end of sarcasm on downloading
Rentals, Definately. If I like them then I buy them..No reason to waste money buying something you may not like.
I used to go to the theater all the time but since I had Bishop I don't go. I can't wait till he is old enough to sit through a whole movie!!!
I would prefer to see all my movies in the theater, but alas, I cannot. Therefore, I end up watching more rentals than anything else.
(Kill Bill Vol. I was AWESOME! :D)

When I figure out, what movie I want to see is showing it is on video. I have rented but I forget to return them until I owe so much I should have bought them so I will buy them so I don't pay late charges....

The last movie I watched in the theater was Kill Bill, Vol. 2...which was awesome. But mostly, I watch rented movies...almost every weekend.

It's a Riaa poster, not the type of thing you'd take seriously.
When you're buying movies etc. you are helping poverty spread since people are wasting to much of their income.

lol
I don't watch many movies. Most of them are the same thing, just told differently. Plus, I don't like watching them alone.

How I watch a movie totally depends on the evening I want, not the movie itself. If I want to have a chill evening out with someone I know pretty well, I go out to see a movie - that's usually when I just want to get out of the house. The majority of the time I rent.
Red - Is that "The Missing" with Cate Blanchett and Tommy Lee Jones? That movie was great.
