CD's - use anywhere (pretty much) ZIP Disk? geez..any one still got one of those dinosaurs?
I use my zip disk at home. :p
I only use ZIP Files. No ZIP drive anymore. I store ZIP files onto a CD. The DINO at home gets really confused when you turn it on. So, I leave it alone now.

<California beach blonde (from "clueless" )> Zip drives are SOOOOOO yesterday. We got usb 2.0 jump drives now. They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool!!! </clueless>
What the hell is a jump drive?
The little baby thumb-sized drives that plug into your USB port...they're pretty damned cool.

Hey, this is larger than advertised!!! :p
Well there wasnt an option for HDD or DAT drives, let alone DVD Ram / DVD +/- or network storage ... but anyway ... i use a 120GB HDD, its so efficent and you cant get nuffin better.
...Unless it has a mechanical drive failure. What do you use for backup?

I use cd cus I aint got no zip drive on my poor lil laptop. Or I use good ol' floppy disks when I'm heading down to the printer. I love my jumpdrive, it's so cute and bright red, my favorite color!

Well, CDs typically hold more data, and you are more likely to find another PC with a cd-rom than a zip drive. There's nothing wrong with zip disks, just think of them as really big floppy disks that not all computers can use.
In the past, there was a problem with zip drive reliability (google for "click of death"), but I haven't paid attention to whether or not they've fixed it. I assume they have.
Personally, I back everything up to CD and then never access it again. I want a dvd writer so I'll have less spindles around :)
Sorry, Red! I think CDs are better. :)
