View Full Version : Extraordinary
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.
I found this just now. What have you done lately where you put in just a little extra?
Everyone tells me I go above and beyond my job when I help people. I look at it as if I go into human mode. Just helping another in life. And it makes me feel good. Like maybe I started the good karma roll. Smile and most times you get someone else to smile. It's infectious. Help someone and more times than not they are more willing to help.

I will stop in any store to help someone with their cell phone, before I know it, a crowd has gathered. Yesterday, I was in Walley World showing Renee how to text message with T9, another lady came up and said leave her alone she is not working. I told the other lady I didn't mind. The more you know about your phone the easier your life could be with it. The next thing she did was grab her purse got her phone out and learned how to get her voice mail. I know it might not be extraordinary but at least I got to know someone new yesterday. :winkkiss:

Well lookie here, my broccoli headed gal is back! I'm sorry to hear about your mom, Lucy. You are special, Lucy. There are so many people who turn their backs on family in times of need. You show those selfish people just how it's done. :kissy: :cheesy:
Red, you are extra ordinary. Do you know how many people would have left that person in a flash had it been break time? You did two things: You gave something extra that helped someone out... and hopefully they will in turn do the same to someone else. Random kindness... What a wonderful thing to start.

I'm usually extraordinary in the cooking department. I used to waitress for 5 yrs so I learned how to make someones dinner look like a piece of art and taste pretty good too. And I serve them with all the extra touches that makes them feel like they're in an expensive restaurant. I just don't get tipped. But if they enjoy it and remember it, then that would be good enough for one.
