You know the type. They accent the words hot or tight when describing their clothes... as if they're one step away from tossing you out of the room so they can get busy... with themselves. ONLY guys described as cute or hot are worthy of their time. All others are boring and annoying to them. They giggle and wiggle and make the guys drool. Then they open their mouths and have to put out to keep the attraction going. Let's face it, no one wants to spend time with a self absorbed twit who wont put out. Boozer showed me a website of some girls that fit this description to a tea. I wanted to hurl through the monitor and strangle them. He pointed out that most college girls in his area act like this... at least I stopped asking him if he met anyone interesting.

When I first surfed on the web I got a barrage of come-ons by almost every male I encountered. It was as if the women's movement didnt exist and we were all just fuck toys. I slowly weeded through the A/S/L guys to find the decent ones. That's when I saw why they were acting like mindless horn dogs: Sluts on webcams. They pouted and thrusted their tits into the cam. They posted in the 'Hot or Not' type websites and expected tens. You could see the vacant sign in their eyes. When I started to get emails about how I was different from most online girls I didnt realize what a compliment it was. Now there is a whole new type of woman on the web. Intelligent, witty and not going to take shit. They hold their own on forums and have websites without tit-cams. Finally a woman you want to talk to and not fuck. Okay, so you still want to fuck them... But it's a start.

Yet i must know more people on the net with alter-ego's than i do off the net, but hey, lets just face it, 90% of wot you see in a commercial chat room is simply eiter someone being fake, or power hungry, mind you that all depends on the chat site.

I've been on the web for 7 yrs now and my first experience of women on the web back in the young and innocent web (by today's standards) you spent time talking to people from various nations, not finding that there were only horny bastards interested in cybering (which is boring). While I think Diva is right to put a lot of the blame of the continued existance of the problem on the sluts that feed the animals, I would put all the blame for its creation on the animals themselves.

Here's how I think it happened:
Initially, the net was pretty much geekland. Real geeks are generally not chauvinist pigs or horny teenagers, and a lot of time was spent talking to interesting likeminded people, like warza bidul said.

The problem started when the "haxxorz", or wannabe geeks started taking residence here. The net became something "cool", an area to show off your skillz in various forms.
Since these young males arrived before the more mainstream population, and in greater numbers than the previous geeks, they could pretty much set the standards. Of the few women that wentured online, the only ones that would be allowed to stay were the ones that provided the horny mobs with what they desired: Boobs.

Only rather recently have the more sane women AND men gathered enough numbers to be able to sustain themselves as a group, and defend against the barrage of fecal matter delivered by the primates.
We are shifting the power balance into our favour, but sadly we will never be able to push them off. As long as the sluts feed the monkeys, they will stay, and continue to howl and throw crap.
