Im a hair dresser and it really gets to me sometimes when old ladies complain that "its not what I expected dear" Im a hairdresser dam it not a magician I cant reverse the aging process. What galls you guys about your jobs?
I love legal research and writing. I don't mind dealing with clients. The thing I can't stand about my job? It's the accounting. I'm horribly inept at accounting and it just kills me everytime I have to work with it. Not only that, but anybody here ever have the unfortunate experience of not getting someone's paycheck to come out the correct way? It was a miscommunication, not so much an error in math - but the thing is - when you don't give an employee a proper paycheck, they seem to feel like you don't care about them as a person.

Now Berly, have ever made the mistake of over paying the employee?? Only when you take it back, I bet they come and fuss that you got it wrong and they want it back NOW?
I'm a web designer by trade. It is, by default, never ever what the client wants. :( Such is the way of things.

Well, I'm a full time student. So its kind of like my job, anyway.
The thing I hate most about my school is all the smokers, I don't smoke and I am definately in the minority with the other non-smokers. 9 out of every 10 people prolly smoke at my school....Roach would be in heaven.
And I don't get paid in monetary units, but thats just a fact of life.

Lucky hairdressers can't be prosecuted for dodgy job eh?
Being a waiter, the thing I hate about my job most of all is unnecessarily rude/ignorant customers. I don't expect overwhelming gratitude - but there's no need to be rude to the people serving your fucking dinner.
I know exactly how you feel, Vill. I used to waitress and there were some major assholes to contend with. They must of gotten 'server' confused with 'servant'. I'll bet you didn't have the added pleasure of being confused to a play wench. At least they acknowledged your eyes every once in a while. I really need to train these tits to talk.
I hate the fact that after driving hundreds of miles to search for and then haggle to buy a piece, load it into my vehicle, pad it, strap it down, drive it back to my shop (where the rent ain't cheap), unload it, repair it from the beating it took getting back here, polish it up, price it reasonably, and then display it, some dolt comes along and asks for my best price (which I always give, rarely does an item sell for the price marked). Then the said dolt will decide to be cute and offer half of the price I quoted!
I have been known to smash an item underfoot occasionally just to let them know they've crossed the line.

I was actually having a bad time there with one particular old lady. She came in with a photo in a magazine she was about sixty and the girl in the magazine was maybe eighteen. She asked If I could do that and I replied yes I could so after hours of work and the exact same style reproduced in the same colour. She was disapointed that I hadnt made her a teenager again and didnt want to pay me. Since then she has come back almost daily to complain and ask me to fix this and that. I swear Im almost ready to scream. If I could spell euthanasia Id out on the streets demanding it
You know, there is this girl that goes into the salon my gf works at, this chick got a dye job like a month ago then got it dyed back for free the next day as she said she didnt like it. She has since been in three times for the same type of thing.. how long does it take before you people tell them to take a walk?
Well Im with you spotty I cant spell euthanasia either but at sixty they have out lived their usefulness and should have the good grace to quietly wave bye bye

Shame on you!!!!!
I hate losing a kid. You try so hard to help these kids, but in the end it's up to them. I hate meeting parents who are directly responsible for their childs' situation, and have them lay the blame elsewhere.

I actually do not mind my job, I work on PBX's and telephone switches, installing phones , project managing. basically 2 or 3 steps ahead of a lackey. I also bartend every other Saturday at a local fire hall. I really cannot think of anything that really jives me, I deal with customers on a daily basis and nothing bothers me. I think it is from my past waitering/bartending experiences, I bartended at the beach for 5 years plus on st johns island. In that time period I have dealt with some much horseshit I am immune to stuff!!!! I keep my head on straight, look 'em in the eye and give 'em the old "Go fuck yourself smile" and they think that I am just the nicest guy!!!!!! My co worker doesn't think it is so funny, says I am a rude Mfer
St Johns Islands? Is this a place or the name of a bar?
As in most jobs I think, I loath hypocritical managers. They absolutely turn my stomach. Too rarely I come across a guy or a woman who is bold enough to tell his/her own opinion even if that diverts from what the company 'prepackages' for them to say.
