Why the fuck do we buy groceries these days that give us false infomation?
I buy frozen stuff that tells me it will be out of date within a month! but my freezer says it's good for three to twelve months with parole.
Even sell by dates are getting like the mini skirt (Shorter and Shorter) Retailers are fast becoming the microsoft of the future! They have the attitude of sell it and bring an improved version out a batch later.
Food in tins has also succumbed to this policy, My point here is; if you were really hungry? would you eat it if it had gone past it's sell/use by date? or would you starve to death?

Well in this here democracy! that cries out for aid for every small crisis abroad; we dump the food that could help the needy. Our motto is "if they can't afford to buy it when it's good, let the fuckers starve!". Very humanitarian huh!

A nice thought Red; but explain how someone homeless gets access to this information? a public library? you need a valid address to join one! maybe they could all use their laptops to log on and find out huh?

I wouldn't say the internet is only for the rich, a friend of mine that ran away from home simply used his friends address and phone # and he easily got a library card, granted he was using the library as a place to stay during the day, he would just sit there and read books all day and when the librarian said something about it to him he just said he enjoyed the calmness of the library...but thats another story. My point, the internet is accessable even if your "homeless", also, even the manufacturers will say that most food is good till 3 or 4 weeks after the expiration, that date is mainly there for store use, not consumer.

getting access to the internet isnt always easy for a long time I never had a computer at home and could only scab some time here and there when my boss was out. When I couldnt do that I was reduced to living off the charity of friends. As for scrantons original question sure I would as aussie says that food is distributed free to the poor all the time and they dont die.

I guess the point I was trying to make was, homeless men getting paid to be sperm donors. $40.00 a pop. Can you image some rich woman going to the sperm bank and having a drunk be her baby's dad??:baby:

Scranton.. For the rich? LOL.. I fall WELL below the poverty level and still manage, most everyone I know has the internet. Maybe its different in the UK but I know here its rather widely available. Not that many homeless people would find it at any rate..
