Denny's is the shit. Especially when it's late at night. AH. (I just wanted to share) :kissy:

Ah, Denny's. My friends and I used to sit in Dennys for hours on end. We would drink coffee and annoy the other patrons (not intentionally, we just got to talking and forgot other people were there).

Aussie, Denny's is a 24 hour family type restaurant. It is frequented by people including, but not limited to: people who have been partying at a club or bar and need food to sober up, people who don't want to go home yet, people who are travelling and need something to eat that they recognize, high school, college and post college kids, either pre or post party, etc.

We had a particular Denny's that we hung out at. We had our "favorite" booth, and the staff got to know us there. We would meet there for anything and everything. Usually every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There were generally anywhere from 3 to 15 of us. Generally, we would meet there, distribute the driving responsiblities - go do whatever event - and end there as well.

Someone convinced about 3 of my group of friends that our particular Denny's was haunted. The girls were convinced that the women's loo was where the ghostly activities took place. Hmmm. Aussie, does this give you ANY idea what Denny's is like?

ah jen. i got friends that work there so i get free shit. oh. the power of denny's indeed.

They closed our dennys so now we have "The Waffle House" and "Waffle King".

Denny's is great for those post concert munchies, but I'll have to say I prefer Jack in the Box, they're both open 24 hours.

I loved Dennys. We used to go to there after dancing and share that chocolate fudge cake from hell...

We also used to Bob's Big Boy. I loved their burgers and fries. We used to sit there and laugh for hours.

The last time I went was in Daytona Beach. It was awesome and the service was excellent. We just happened to go there because it was right near where we were fishing. And we were impressed. The one we go to here is okay....It's just good when the bars close and I'm hungry and want to sober up. I bet in Daytona they just have their shit together so they can afford to live there...
