While rummaging through old school papers I stumbled upon this quote:
"The lightest wallets are those without pictures in them."
I figured this meant that true wealth is not money but in friends and family. Then as I figured this I took a quick look in my wallet to find ZERO pictures. hmmm, oh well, nobody's perfect.
I then read who said it............... J. Langley (grade 10)
I hate it when I do things like that.
I'm J. Langley...if you're wondering
Hey Sunny! You ever find a phone number without a name.... and you don't know who is belongs to?

Ah, Sunny, those were the days, when we were young, chubby and without care...or, alternatively, the days when we had the living shite kicked out of us by bigger boys. Maybe those days weren't so great, after all...
I was once in a pub with Mark, a (straight - at least I presume so, from long observation and pint-buying) friend of mine, talking crap, when a middle-aged homosexual approached and began chatting him up; curiously enough, this mainly took the form of him talking about chess. I found this extremely funny, needless to say, but even more so when the man in question (who was also masquerading as a PhD graduate) turned to go, and eagerly wrote his telephone number down, indexed to the word (in sinister capitals) "CHESS".
He still has the number in his wallet today, and I periodically taunt him about it, urging him to "ring it up and go round his place for a bloody good game of chess." In fact, I now regard chess as a synonym for fudge-packery, entirely as a consequence of that conversation...

His wallet is a compendium of notes with telephone numbers, most of them Origami Society-related. I don't think he has room for loose change or paper money in there, to tell the truth.
I have to admitt my own wallet contains more phone numbers cards licences (car, dog, fishing, boat)and assorted crap than it ever will money. No photo`s though I never carry pictures

I never cared for wallets. I'm still not sure how you consitently distinguish between a purse and a wallet, to tell you the truth, and, until someone comes up with a convincing working definition, I think I'll stick with pockets.

Div': nope I don't get numbers...I'm a loser in that deparment
Am: I don't know what days you're talking of cause I was the bigger guy (physically), and I was also the nicest.
Auss: I'm currently in the process of redefining what a friend is to me, I'll tell you the results when they come in.
Jennafer: what what?

Sunny - in my case, I'm speaking of 1981-2, when you were nothing more than a twinkle in your father's eye, Steve Martin was still funny, and Osama Bin Laden was just another one of the good guys.
You can count me in as a friend. You sure don't sound like a loser to me....
