Phobias. Sound off if you got em.

Water. I don't do water. And flying/jumping insects creep me out.

I'm scared of growing old, looking back and not being at least a little proud of some accomplishments.

Too many times have I heard people say "I wish I..." I'm not gonna let that happen to me.

I'm also afraid of heights and being in a place and not knowing if someone is watching you.

How do you know if someone is watching you?

Its more like when you're sitting or working somewhere where you can't see anyone around but possibly hear sounds that makes you think differently but not sure. It the being unsure that makes me nervous.

Ditto. Spiders suck major ass. At work we have these spiders that laugh at you when you step on them.

Heights.

And gigantic, fat drunken truckers who think that you're backtalking them when you say "Yes, sir".

Spiders or any other kind of insect or arachnid don't bother me a bit. We have quite a few in the apartment complex I live in (spiders that is.) Usually when I leave for work I run into at least one wolf spider (the hunting spider) and another of some other variety.

Needles. It's the idea of having stuff slid under my skin that just makes me either gag or go dizzy. I'm fine with knives, but needles just freak me out. Consequently, I hate going to the doctor.

Heights, flying, water, spiders, snakes, insects, and confined spaces are all okay, but there's just something about needles that I have a problem with.

I'm definately not too keen on murky water. I need to see what's swimming around me or it's a no-go.

I'd have to agree with Jake on the murky water thing. Although I have gone swimming in portions of what many would consider a "bayou" (or for less delicate terms, "a swamp") and it was quite freak-a-delic. Especially when you're having a great time swimming, thrashing around and being quite loud when you suddenly arrive to the sobering realization that you COULD be surrounded by nests of water moccasins/cottonmouths and various other deadly reptiles/amphibians.

Speaking of the needles bit, I went to the podiatrist to have an ingrown toenail removed the other day. I thought that I wasn't that squeamish of needles...but once she got to administering the Lidocaine, which consisted of jabbing and moving a long, thin needle around various places inside my toe, I was shaking like a leaf on a tree in the middle of a torrential thunderstorm. I popped half a bar of Xanax upon leaving just to stop the fucking quivering.

Fucking spiders get to me I hate those little bastards. I never walk away and leave one living

There's plenty of those in and around our house. Very useful creatures as they keep the number of flies and mosquitoes down.

My biggest fear would be heights but only in those places where I can't see a grip to hold on to.

Strange how so many people are afraid of water!?

Needles! Aaaaa!!!! I can't stand needles. Which is pretty darn ironic, since I work in a hospital. My second week on the job escorting patients around the hospital I had to pick up this little old lady and take her to the X-Ray department. I pushed her to the nurses desk and heard her say "Oh dear". When I bent forward to see, she held her hand up with her IV needle in it. It had some blood around it and her skin was so thin that I saw the needle underneath. I fainted right back into the arms of a very surprised nurse. I thought my job was over. Luckely, they woke me up and never said a word.

Black girls. Ever since the 5th grade.

Black girls...lol. What is that about??? Ate-up! Spiders are cool with me as long as they aren't the giant ones. I have a phobia now of driving alone? I've lost it! I need to go to the fucking store and I dread it. I even have Xanax. I'm wharped. But, if I'm out waisted I'll get a ride from a stranger and do all kinds of freaky shit. Escape the phobia. Guns freak me out. I can't stand to see one unless it's a cop, then I'm too paranoid to even notice it. Maybe that's why I don't drive...??? I drive good but I'm like the road rage stuff is out of control!!!!! That and seeing too many gore pics of mutilation? Yikes! So, I let my boyfriend drive and I ride. He has airbags!!!!

Yes, this place is pretty cool. Diva's done a great job! Welcome. No I haven't been w/ a black girl, but my god! LOL. Have you? Get your blankie. Now I have a phobia of real aliens on earth! I watched some movie last night about aliens looking like people with Charlie Sheen. I was like "what if we are aliens and don't even know it?" Joking. of course, but I'm always like if there were aliens they wouldn't look like the big gooey insects freaks they make them out to be. But, they're fun.
