View Full Version : *rams a coat hanger into his ear*
Okay. I've had this goddamn song stuck in my head for three days. "Bandages" by Hot Hot Heat. Every time I think I've forgotten it, I unwittingly start whistling the chorus. FUCK.
What song are you stuck on at the moment?
/me wanders off to go poke his brain with a cotton swab.

Not too bad today: The Fall - There's a Ghost in my House.
Earlier this week though it was fucking Elton fucking Johns fucking Candle in the fucking Wind.

I'm so fucking sorry, hollowearth, that's just fucking absurd.
:P
I had a Celine Dion song stuck in my head the other day after a Muzak version of it came on in Macy's. I can't remember the name of it, but it's a Celine Dion song, which is bad enough in itself. That's not quite as torturous as "Candle in the Wind", but it's pretty damn well farking close.

I fucking can't stand when I fucking get fucking elton John stuck in my fucking head (/obscene profanities)
This may seem weird but I wake up every single morning with a different song stuck in my head. No matter what I do I always end up having that song in my head all god damn day. Then when I sleep it is gone and replaced with a new song.
I had Tom's Diner (http://www.nochicktrix.com/fun/aud/song/toms_diner.mp3) by Suzanne Vega stuck in my head for days. The first part, too.

got no songs stuck in my head luckily, lucky as I am, have to be careful about candle in the wind though, if that gets stuck I'm gonna do something to you for mentioning the song.
Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam. Great song.
Worst song to have stuck in your head has gotta be any theme song from a 50's, 60's or 70's tv show. (Leave it to Beaver, etc.)

Boozer...I haven't said this to many people before, but...I think I love you, man.
Seriously, though, PJ is one of my favorite bands of all time. I know so many details about their music and so much useless bullshit about them, it's unreal. Even my best friend who led me to listening to their music now cowers in fear of my knowledge. (don't worry Shannon, you're still the best surrogate brother a true ghetto child like myself could have)
:D
i have that "i feel pretty, oh so pretty" stuck in my head caz of the anger management movie. every time that song gets in there, it gets caught up in traffic and doesn't move. I feel your pain brothers, i feel your pain!

I must've missed that show.
Everytime I see twistedzipper's avatar I start singing, "I've got spurs that jingle jangle jingle..." And I can't stop singing it right now. ARGH!
/me sings, "Oh, I've got spurs, that jingle-jangle-jingle......and my 'roids, they burn, they itch, they tingle......"

indeed it is, then again it might simply be your subconscious reminding the two of you at the same time.

you're shouting rather loud, feeling a little edgy?
Okay, it's all Moon-Light's fault. He recommended this band, The Darkness (http://www.thedarknessrock.com), and I gave them a listen. It's infectiously good, simple music. The singer has a wild voice, and now I can't get that damned song "Friday Night" out of my head. :D :D :D

I just climbed out of a cottonwood tree,
I was runnin' from some honeybees.
Drip-dryin' in the summer breeze,
After jumpin' into Calico Creek.
I was walkin' down an old dirt road
Past a field of hay that had just been mowed
Man I wish you'd just left me alone
'Cause I was almost home
---Almost Home, Craig Morgan
Jungle Boogie by Kool and the Gang.

Oh my lord, it has been a day!!! While I was at work, I had a freakin SHITLOAD of songs going through my mind:
1st song: Shirley Temple's "On the good ship, LOLLIPOP..." which, those are about the only words I know to it.
2nd song: Annie's "Tomorrow, I love ya, Tomorrow, You're only a DAAAAAAY, AAAAA-WAAAAAAAY"...nuff said... haha
3rd song: Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet's "5 o'clock Somewhere"
I was ready to pull my frickin' hair out today lol
Another Goo Goo Dolls song now. "Black Balloon." Good times, though; I have to do a cover of it on Thursday.
Isn't that song about heroin?
Cocaine addiction, actually.
