View Full Version : Your style
How much does style matter to you?
How do you dress, anyways?
Do you judge people based on their style?

At the moment I've got trousers which are dirty from working on a boat, my hair is getting too long and it's time to cut it and I've got a tan, this means I've been doing something other than sitting in front of the computer chatting via discussion forums
I judge people by their clothing and their dressing. I think suits are too formal, hip hop r&b walking billboard fashion is shit... long live relaxed clothing.
I am a bit of a wheightist... I prefer people who look as if they can walk for other reasons than to reach the fridge... for example because they enjoy the outdoors.
Enough with dislikes. I like well dressed people, those who don't wear to casual nor too hard rock or R&b or formal... a happy medium instead.
I always been told "never judge a book by its cover"
I usually dont predetermin how a person will act towards me until I at least speak with them. I have damn nice cloths just hanging in my closet and spend 60% of the time shirtless, shoeless and in shorts. So no, I dont go by how a person dresses or looks.

style matters to me, but its not like 'style' its more like what i like and thats my style....i dress in whatever i find on the floor in the morning and depending on the weather.....heh.....i try not to judge ppl on their style but style reflects personality so it is a valid way to figure out ppl.....example: hoochies who were tight little clothes that reveal skin are dressing to their personality, and you can 'judge' them for it.......quote: " we can lie in the language of dress, or we can try to tell the truth, but unless we are naked and bald it is impossible to be silent."

lol..........well most of the time when im at work ......grunge or trailor trash style........dirty whiteboy since im in construction:D
Clothes do NOT make the man. I'm usually in a t-shirt, blue jeans, ball cap, and my old beat up cowboy boots. Most of my clothes are stained from work, but I do have a couple pair of pants that are pretty clean. I don't follow fashion trends. I wear what I like and what I find comfy!!

clothes don't affect who you are but they do affect how you behave. If you're in a shirt and tie at a conference then you normally behave far more seriously than if you're in shorts at the beach.
What about shoes. What does it say about me if during the past few weeks I've been wearing sandals almost all the time and was walking barefoot yesterday.
I used to wear what I like, in other words whatever I had in terms of clothing but over time I found that I was more relaxed dressing better, made me more self confident because although clothes don't change who you are they do affect first impressions... and self confidence.
Was told by a friend not to wear my phone on my belt because it doesn't look good, told to wear gel. Always wear the phone on the belt as it's easier to do and never wear gel because the hair's not nice for my seductress to run her hands through.
