Nice bunch of people here, I usually don't surf all that much. I work full time and usually only play Q3 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein (cool game btw.) But, one day I needed to know if "shpeel" was a real word, did a search and somehow landed at the Diva web page. I read through a few paragraphs, chuckled to myself at her cut on reality and everyday B.S. (not to mention the links...hehe)

Anywho, thought I'd say hello to you folks, I am a fairly bitter person and I don't mind critisicm (giving or receiving) So fire Away!

Hello PWrinkle, you'll find plenty of give and take here. As far as the word "shpeel" it may be found with others of its same sort like "chatchkas" or "nixie". Amaurote is a great source of these morphemes. I am certain that he helped to compile the Oxford English Dictionary. *leans in close and whispers* He has to be the offspring of William Chester Minor.
