well i used to work as a computer tech for a skool system under my mom (she was the boss of the techs) and thats all i did even when i was sent out to fix other computers, online gaming was the best at her work but it wasn't fun seting up 300 computers for a lab and having to do in in under ahour and have them connet to teh internet that was tuff.

I live and breath the net at work. Don't want to know how many gazilllions of bytes we waste each day ;) Between sending pointless emails, downloading mp3's, surfing enlighting websites and chatting and IM'ing in between the work. Actually, I just setup my own webserver at home so that I can live stream my own mp's from home directlyi into my office PC. Now I just got to mind my upload limit of my cable company :D

work for me would be school...and theres the computer lab at school...when were in there for classes everyone is on the internet even tho were not allowed except for research only......ppl are playing games, checking mail, sending messages, posting on forums etc.....even the good ppl do it....heh

back in the days when I was a student I managed to get permanent access to the computer rooms to surf the web, work on the school's online newspaper and more. That was quite nice because the connection was slightly faster than at home. Depending on where I'm working the connection may or may not be faster than at home, after all it's only adsl at home... which is enough most of the time.

well considdering my boss doesnt work when i do, as long as my campus gets locked and unlocked again in the morning, i can spend up to about 10 hours a night online at work on the uni 2mb/s connection ... *so why do i get so board* ???

Used to surf nct from work, now I have to resort to other boards because the ^@$!%! net admins at work labeled nct "web chat" and closed it off!

I am at one of those jobs, where my boss sais: "I need this serial #, software, ..." and I go and find it for him within 5 to 10 minutes. Not only do I usually find free, but legal as well. Hence, he tolorates me being not only on the net while i am at work, but on IRC, as well as streaming myself some music.

I get on here when I'm at work - hell, I'm at work right now.
I only get on when there isn't something going on...like now, It's sunday - I'm supposed to be off, but because of this whole Haiti thing I'm here - just to be here. SO - All I've done today is surf...and will continue until 6...

I'm at work right now, Deev. If my stupid boss had given me a promotion after working for him for 5 years instead handing it to an inexperienced 28 year old Bambie walk-in con-artist, I'd probably be busy doing something useful. Nothing personal. Surfing saves my sanity. I'm even bidding on Ebay nowadays.

At work Im online via a high speed military connection, therefore most questionable sites are blocked, so I spend most of my time surfing the bowels of the 'net trying to find the elusive unblocked porn. When Im not doing that, I hang out at NCT:p .

Hey Jas! Once you post you move up a step. Now you can see more of the site (member section, memberslist, etc...) It's just to make sure people really are interested in posting and not just surfing for porn. ;)

I"m always online at work - well, unless I'm really too busy to do much. I probably spend more time doing web stuff than I do actually working.

At work we have two computers for a vast amount of people and when we're actually working we're far from the computers we're allowed to use. It's a place where I remain offline. I'm among the wealthy elite of those coming to this site from home :)
