Annoying Things people do while in their cars. Me first: Yep, yet another installment of, "Why the hell can't you turn your left blinker on BEFORE the light turns green?". I think that is my biggest pet peeve.

Some of my "Annoying car terminology":

Around the world... to the right: people who forget to turn their turn signal on.

It's the pedal on the RIGHT: Drivers who just can't seem to move their asses.

Pick a lane... any lane: Drivers who keep driving over the line.

Your turn!

The variation of Pick a freakin' lane and stick with it... there's traffic -- jutting in and out of the lanes IS NOT getting you to your destination faster. Stick with one lane and no one get's hurt....

"Get your ass in gear" is a constant favorite, "MOVE"is another good one..There's lots more. I could go on for ages.

You see, if you would just GOOOO, there wouldn't be any traffic.

Dammit gramma, go back to the home!!!! (Old drivers annoy the hell outta me!!)

ever get stuck behind the guy who's driving like he's constantly looking for an address?
or someone who is always riding the brakes?
or the jackass that cuts into your lane missing you by inches and just keeps going like nothings wrong

I HATE THE PEOPLE THAT DRIVE LIKE THEY'RE LOOKING FOR AN ADDRESS.
I was behind one of those the other day. I sped around them, giving them the finger as I went past. I turned down our little country road, and to my own dismay, I saw that they had followed me. I passed our house and kept on driving....and they turned into my neighbor's driveway. :( So, I just made a big loop, waited until I was sure that they were in the house, and drove back to my house.

I gave up on road rage back in 81 when a BIG Mexican dude swung a softball bat ... like, he needed a bat? (the drivers side rear view mirror never recovered)

Things I have learned;

1.) Buckle up!
2.) Expect ... RUDE/INCONSIDERATE drivers
3.) leave earlier (Being late makes you RUDE/INCONSIDERATE)
4.) Smile and let people in front of you (unless you are late :-)
5.) try not to drive nude

I concur with Zaphros on the mobile phone thing. It's actually banned by law in our country to use mobile phones without hands-free set yet people continue to sqeeuze their little precious in between their ear and shoulder, have a muddled conversation, swerve across the road for 5kms and avoid 3 near crashes in all of that
