oh, let's see...what to say...

interests would be music, art, photography, music, cooking, music, music, music, knowledge, physics (universe type stuff), music...

oh, and music...

I was born and raised on all kinds of music. Led Zep & Black Sabbath to Miles Davis to Jean-Luc Ponty (can actually remember back to the age of 4 and listening to an album of his!...and still have that album) to Weather Report to...list goes on. My parent's didn't have much to give me in the early years (1-6) in the way of toys and what-not...but they could plop me down in front of the record player (that I still use) and play music for me.
I'm also a musician. Upright bass and bass guitar. Been playing upright for about 11 years and the bass guitar for about 6 years. I'm in 3 groups right now...
13 Miles High - avante garde jazz...mostly originals, but we also play the classics by Davis, Bird, Trane, etc...
Gadfly - an offshoot of 13MH...all original music...adds the element of rock and is even more avante garde...free-jazz\rock fusion...
SuperNatural - just silly ol' blues and rock...mostly origianals here too, but play Led Zep, Santana, Hendrix covers...

If I'm not working or playing music I'm probably just relaxing at home listening to some tunes and reading. I enjoy cooking, so much so that I'm thinking of attending the Culinary & Hospitality Institute of Chicago next fall to start working towards getting a Cordon Bleu status (highest level in France, but now in Chicago too!...jeez, sound like a 3am infomercial).

um...that's about it for now...oh yeah, I'm 20 years old for the next 39 days...(Jan 7th!)...I'm back living at home with the parents after living in an apartment for 2 years...I should (hopefully) be moving back out again by spring...

if I think of anything else I'll let you guys know!

Great to have you here Cevarius!
Does 13 Miles High have a site? I'll punch it up and try to give a listen. Interesting alias, have you studied any Latin?

Welcome to the boards, Cev! I hope you enjoy yourself here! How did you find my site? I'm always interested in knowing. I have to listen to some of your music.

Wow! A Chef? I can't even re-heat food. *cough* But enough about me. I think you'll like everyone here. They're a great group! See ya on the boards!

Welcome Cevarius!

I once caught ground beef on fire while trying to "cook". I'm not kidding. It was an electric stove, too. Let's just say that my cooking talent lies in being able to drive through the drive-thru. I envy you.

Welcome, Cevarius:

You certainly have musical omnicompetence, comrade; that's one impressive biography, if ever there was one. I envy people with seriously practical skills, and you clearly have a freightload...

I share all of your interests, except for art, photography, cooking, knowledge, and physics, which are a little bit too complicated for the likes of me; in fact, they're a very large bit too complicated for me. I've never listened to music before, but I've been told it's very entertaining.

Hey, Cev... You ever hear of the 'Town Cryer'? Amaurote, Cevarius. Cevarius, the 'Town Liar'. You gotta love em, though. Really.

usantic - so as not to be considered a spammer, please go to my profile to get the link for my website...

no Latin studies for me...(would be interesting though I'm sure)...the Cevarius thing is actually from the cartoon Gargoyles...the evil scientist's name was Anton Cevarius...Anton is quite common, but Cevarius is not. I've actually never come upon that name on the Internet...which is cool...

Welcome to the boards, Cev! You've found the best group of people on the web, as far a s I can see. I know you're going to enjoy yourself here.

I'm not much for names, but I like the sound. Beats Country. Maybe you can give Diva some cooking tips. It seems the little lady is big on heart, short on cooking. :cheesy:

See you on the boards, man!
