i'd give everything up for you.

all these feelings,
of belonging, love, and eternity.
such confusion, complexity of emotion,
and yet the clarity of a love, a love satisfying the
search of a lifetime.

i fear words nor affection
can ever convey it true.
my love is without end,
it eludes description, for words were not invented,
for such things.
no man could know how to speak my heart.
life in its hollow passage,
true to none but ourselves
gave me what i am,
and this i give to you, giftwrapped
as a man.
