I walk up to my friend on Monday, trying to look slick, and said, "Felice Navidad!" He smiled at me and said, "Merry Christmas to you too." Fuck. After thinking of all the Spanish songs I know I blurted out, "FELIC... I mean HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! HAH! I'm right... Yeah, baby, yeah." Yes, I am prone to making a complete ass out of myself at any given moment. Then I turned to 'swagger' away and walked into the now closed glass door. I didn't even look back at the now howling friend. I even ignored the slightly startled and highly amused person on the other side of the door. My lipstick is probably still on the glass.
