View Full Version : Reality Show
ok, this is totally off the wall, but i was watching road rules/real world "battle of the sexes", and was wondering if anyone would be interested in contacting MTV, having them look at our site, and sponsoring a show bringing us together, but of course they would have to pay for lost wages. It seems like a childish idea, but i want a vacation. Please tell me all the bad things bout this idea, or the impossibilites.
Hmm... I don't even have cable, which might not sit well with them. Hell, I don't even watch TV. I think that getting the time off would be tough, considering the different time zones, countries involved. You can try if you want, but I don't know how feasable it will be... especially since I loath the guy who did the jackass movies and have stated so several times.
Sounds good to me!!! I think it would be great. And Diva, that just adds the drama they want to the show. Especially if the have him "confront" you. Then, of course, I'd have to kick his ass on national television. :)

Hmm...I dunno. We don't have the classic MTV format...you know, the bitch, the gay guy, the innocent virgin, the stupid hot guy...you know. You know?
Hee hee, if someone else took care of intitiating it, I'd be totally up for it. Hell, I'd be up for anything that involved us all meeting eachother somewhere. Going out for coffee and what have you :)
Or even chocolate twister wrestling on MTV ;)
If MTV paid for the travel it would rock. The only hard part would be getting our schedules to mesh, but again, if we got paid, I'm sure some of us with the emptier wallets would be willing.

* JakeD watches a blind albino rat crawl out of his wallet, screech at the light, and run back inside.
Yeah, money sounds good to me.

Yeah, but what about exploiting them for their resources? You know, for our own evil NCT objectives. ;)
i should have taken more time to write this, and think bout it, it just popped in my head, i agree that mtv sux, they don't even agree w/themselves in the sense that its supposed to me Music television. plus, since we don't fight, its probably too boring, and would never get aired, but we would hav tapes to remember eachother by, but its a dumb idea. Just dreams of grandeur of being in a furnished apartment someplace other than where i live. This thread is just to prove how stupid i can b sometimes.

No, I think it's a totally valid inquiry hon. You could always send them a little email anyway...just for shits.
Chica! Shame on you. You are not stupid. I really enjoy your posts and you seem to be a VERY intellegent person. I look forward to reading more posts from you.
I can understand about trying to find a better way to live. I lived in some of the scarriest, run down places when I was starting on my own. Then I became homeless and even the cruddy apartment I had seemed better. You'll be alright. Keep your head up and know that you always have a place to talk about whatever is on your mind. *hugs*

damn don't put your self down like that thats my job to do it to myself you have a wanderful mind. and thst one of teh reason i love yeah so much ;)
actually, Diva, i am glad you mentioned your past living conditions, because compared to where i used to live, this is a beautiful house i live in, and when i look at the 'reality' houses, those lives, i take for granted what i already have.

It's amazing the places people have lived...I had a friend who spent almost all of her time living on Haight/Ashbury with her friends, when she was 13.
I'm happy to hear that, chica. :D Whenever I gripe I remember that someone always has it worse. I lived in a huge home growing up on a private 'island' in Westlake. When my dad died I was on my own and lived where I could. At 13 years old it was hard to find a good job, much less a place to live. When I was homeless (for a week) I slept on the steps of my school. Thank G-d it was warm. It taught me to appreciate what I have.
Kitty, what's Haight/Ashbury?

Famous hippie oriented corner in San Fran...big place to be in the sixties.
