When you're single, going out with friends can also be a way to meet people. As a single person, did/do you usually go with the hope of meeting someone?

in the hope of meeting new people, strengthening existing friendships more than anything else, if I go with a specific goal then I'm more likely to be dissapointed if I don't get anywhere that night, Recently I fell into that trap but I'm clawing my way back out.

When I was single, I usually went out in order to drink myself into oblivion. Hoping to drink so much I didn't care that I was single. I'm sure we all know how well that works.

I focused more on enjoying my friends. When it comes to guy looking I tend to just try and let it happen...especially since I only date people I've been friends with first :)
