Your 'puter, what are you using?

I am not a techno genious by any means, but, what machines/connections are you using. I am interested only because I like gadgets. Girls don't need to attempt an answer. Oh shit! Diva is going to track me down and fry my stuff!

I'll heat up the oil. ha ha. Anyway, mine is a piece of crap IBM from 5 yrs ago that is overloaded. Beyond overloaded. My explorer is shot, so I can only use AOL, and I have Prodigy. It needs help. But, it was handed down to me from my grandpa that passed away in 96. So, maybe it's just haunted. Anyway?

I'm using an "Abacus" it's of greek design and can calculate any mathmatical problem to 42 decimal places!
Nah! I'm shitting you dude! it's a pentium 2
300mhz, with a 56k voice modem, 196 mb of ram, an nvidia geforce 2 graphics card. a shitty creative Soundblaster value card! and a 3.2 gig hard drive! run of the mill? I think run of the bulls!!!!

OK, I was just kidding. It didn't cut my time down, so I went with my Thinkpad A20p. I may not be here often, but my 'puter and I travel. When I am at home I use a cable modem through a Linksys gateway that allows all of us to enjoy talking to the world.

Goofball! I love it! I am called a goofball at home when I put an ATI Radeon 32ddr (just wanted the TV tuner) in my AMD Thunderbird sporting an uneccessary 512mb of more ddr! An IBM ata100, plextor, ASUS A7A266, View Sonic, netted to my Linksys and Surfboard and A20p! Oh! My wife is connected also, but, she is running an Athlon 700, 256mb, with a VooDoo 16 card. You gotta love her! (she only emails all the out of state in- laws not welcome here!) Better she uses a computer than run up phone bills, or, heaven help me, a visit from them, any of them!!

Hey at last I have a computer of my own its old, its second hand, Im told I payed to much for it and I don’t care. Its mine!!!! I used to use my bosses until she caught me and there was holy hell to pay for that one. I was almost unemployed. As for being a dumb blond aussie all I can say to that one is shove it. Im sure you wernt born in front of a computer. If I knew how to make that little finger thingy this would be an appropriate time and place.

i have an AMD 500Mhz, 7.6gb hard drive, 15" monitor at 1280x1024 resolution, 64mb RAM. It was second hand and cost me £525 last christmas
