When is it the right time to have sex when you start dating?

I voted for "other". I think it just depends on your feelings for that person and their feelings for you....it happens when it happens, no need to rush it or wait too long.

Agreed, JakeD. It all depends on your situation. In one instance, you could be having sex within the week. In another, it could take months. It depends on a lot of things.

In a perfect world, it would happen within 10 minutes of meeting one another, but then, this world ain't perfect, now, is it?

Exatomundo. I think it's totally dependent on the two people. I've turned down people for years but with the current boyfriend it took five days of dating to "hook up". It just finally felt right.

I think two months is a good amount of time. You need to know who the person is and if they're going to be compatible. No sense in moving on to the next step if they're not right for you.

I voted for other. . .i believe that it's all about comfort and the realness of one another.
It also depends on what one wants, just a sexual escapade, a one night stand, or something long lasting.
Sometimes you can't put a limit on lust.
It's all about feeling.

Yeah, obviously it depends on the situation, what you feel is right, yadda, yadda, yadda.

However, back in the real world, life is short, and holding out for months is going to get you kicked into touch with extreme predjudice.

yeap, when it feels right. some people have one night stands just to relieve sexual tension, leave and never see that person again, w/out getting hurt. Other times its too early and, well, u know...... It all depends.
