It seems that blogs are getting more and more popular these days. Do you keep an online journal? Is it public or private? If you have/or started one, would the fact that it was public stop you from sharingyour most intimate thoughts?

I have a semi-private journal that I keep up. A few of my friends from high school and I have them, so we can keep up with what's new in each other's lives if we don't talk for a few weeks.

I've got one, from what I gather a few of you read it from time to time :)

It's just nice to type up something and then set it free in the void that is the interweb. It's like writing a note and sending it down a river...but less polution.

Blogs can be interesting but the problem is: too many is just too many. In the end you start suffering from the TMI (Too Much Information) syndrome.

I keep a small blog myself (private) but purely related to work stuff. It's my own little 'knowledge base'.

My sister has one, but I do not. I think that private ones can be a good idea, although it's hard to look back at your thoughts unless you print the pages. That defeats the purpose, in my opinion.

I'd be cautious to post private information. You never know who's going to look at it. We're not as anonymous on the web as we used to be.
