Paris fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier got the last laugh yesterday when demonstrators, who clamoured on to his runway to wave "Fur Kills" signs at the photographers, were draped in luxurious fur coats and whisked from sight.

"The fur must have felt terrible considering their strong convictions," said freelance Danish photographer Helle Moos.

Where do you stand in the fur issue?

Do you approve of PETA's methods?

Do you feel the same way about leather?

The fur issue is really controvertial...... I dont believe in killing animals strictly for fashion and only for their coats. I do however believe if you must kill animals to eat then using every part of them is a definite must.

I say more power to PETA. I am a free speecher and if they choose to act agressively tword an obviously important issue then spray paint away!

I think with leather its the same as the first. If you are eating the animal preferably killing it yourself and using all the parts then go for it.

Fur is definately a controversial topic, and I also don't believe in killing for the sake of fashion.

On the other hand, PETA has become increasingly fanatic in recent years, and has sponsored many cases of "attacks" on facilities that they are against. As much as I might agree with their beliefs, I don't agree with any group that would sanction criminal acts to further their cause.

Agreed yet again Augstus, PETA pisses me off more often then not nowadays. I believe in treating animals well, but they are just nuts in that group.
