I like Black/deathmetal, heavy metal, classical, industrial, rap, and a few oldies bands like pink floyd, rolling stones, and janis joplin. occasionally i like jazz. i'm workin on the photo thing, having probs w/the scanner, thank you all for being nice, open to other people's ideas even tho u don't always agree, i really admire that you guys respect eachother like that

Of course, madamoiselle. Being respectful and open to others should be a founding rule of every forum. Unfortunately, there are both people and places on the Internet that are an exception to that rule due to their brash and unaccepting nature...breaking down that seemingly universal truth is one of the things that the members strive for on NCT.

Causing problems never solves anything, and ignorant disagreements get you nowhere. Many of us realize that, and therefore we each try our damnedest to retain a sense of integrity when it comes to expressing our opinions and ideas. Everybody's got to work towards something, right?

Bienvenido chica! Its good to see you have a varied taste in music. My playlists tend to cut right from heavy metal to classical to jazz etc My sister has an encyclopedic knowledge of all types of punk music these days so its great to always be able to find out what punk music i should listen to from her. There are only a few things I never give in to: gansta rap (???), bubble gum/ many super light rock songs, anything where there singer screams a lot in an irritating manor and there is no audible melody, most of the time country especially the old country music, perhaps something called blue grass but i'm not even sure it exists.

sad to say bluegrass exists, i used to be a techie for the school's auditorium and had to do sound for a 8 long hour bluegrass festival, never knew that existed, now i wish i didn't. I also look up to my older brothers for music, but i have a coupla friends also.

I see. Oh and I feel for you about the bluegrass festival. First I had ever heard of bluegrass was just in a commercial, and I thought that was an excruciatingly long experience ;)
