There are times when we follow our heart and times when we follow our head. But many times we tend to follow our fear's advice. Which rules the choices you make in life, love, etc... over the other emotions?

My head. Sometimes I think about things too much, and then they're gone...

I must admit that fear makes my decisions for me...I've been working really hard to get over that.

You said it JakeD...I think about everything, sometimes way too much, and before you know it...it's gone. The opportunity has passed me by.

But it's not all bad, thinking my way through problems instead of being irrational has helped me out. I do and say less stupid things when I think about it...

I think I should follow my heart more at times, but I usually follow my head.

My heart, oh how my heart can break. What does fear have to do with anything??

My heart will ache, my head will spin...but what I fear ultimately has the biggest effect on my decisions. Meaning that...for example, I will study for my Accounting exam, not because I want to get a good grade, but because I fear a bad one. Another example...I'll stay with a guy I don't like (best example lasted two years) with someone I'm not happy with for fear of change. Current example, I'm not making an immediate decision on whether or not to move out to Massechusetts because I'm afraid of money issues, education issues, and not being able to support myself out there.

I'm with a few of you, in that I tend to overthink things way too much. Sometimes it screws something up for no reason. Sigh.

On a seperate note, Kitty, come to Mass :)
