View Full Version : Steps up to the mike
Okay, I guess its my turn,
(ahem),,,, I was born a poor..no no no *grins*
I'm from Atlanta and have been amazed by its growth in recent years. I'm gonna take a line with red's answer about age and just say that a southern gentleman can play a good hand of poker. Lesseee, I found nochicktrix surfin' from ehowa to morty's then here. Needless to say I like what I see here. I'm glad there are some Aussie's in the mix. One of My fav bands is (jeez here goes the age thing) Dire Straits. When the attacks came I brought up Brothers In Arms on my pc and listened to it over and over again. Eeeeeeeny way, glad to be here and I hope I can add something to the mix
Hi! Welcome to our forum. So, you found me through Mortilla, the great white-assed beast? :D He's a good guy... I'm glad that you like my site. That's always good to hear! *Falls off of chair from weight of head*
I'm sure you'll have a ball here. Everyone is really cool.

Glad to meet you, Usantic - great name, and an equally great avatar. I'm a big fan of Georgia (it's always on my mind) and Eduard Shevardnaze, like I say, so I look forward to reading more of your posts.
I'm also delighted to discover that you're an antiques dealer by profession, because I'm hoping that you might be able to help me carbon date some of the punchlines I've been using lately: most of them are Pre-Jacobean, but I'm convinced that some of them may even date back to the reign of Edward the Confessor. I'm depending on you, Usantic.
Hey usantic, you seem to be stuck with us! Haha.
Ummm... Don't mind Am, he actually gets those "punch lines" from old Readers' Digest issues.

Hell yeah. I'm not sure how if I'll ever be able to go back to 56k after this lovely 10mbps LAN.
Its amazing the effect of throwing $$$ at something has. It'll do what ya want. Now if I can just get my wife to follow that premise!
If you ever get cable or the likes you will never want to go back to a 56K modem! Congrats on the upgrade usantic :)
OK OK OK, I'VE MISSED ALL Y'ALL!!!
I'm anxious to look throught the posts and see whats bouncing around in tha gray matter. I'm pleased to meet the new members and look foward to delving into superior intellect!

* Diva signals to JakeD to lock the door, pull up the bridge, throw more crocs into the moat, nail the windows shut and station guards everywhere.

Everything will be fine. Here there are freshwater fountains and flowers. There are flowers everywhere. There is no need to be alarmed.
