Junk. Im a junkie!
I have a weakness for rice......... all kinds.... brown, white, with sauce/without.... goes great with any meal and I will eat it as much as I can.
Nuts. I eat peanuts, cashews and a mixture of them.

I never really understood why students supposedly eat crap because they're poor, kitty. It's far cheaper to eat vegetables and stuff than pizzas, chips etc. All it takes is a little effort..

To have a full meal at McDonalds is far cheaper than buying the supplies to make yourself something different. If I could afford the money AND time to actually prepare food, I would. It's a luxury many students don't have.
Fruit. AT least 4-5 pieces a day with my pack-up for work.
Well this is a tough one. I chose junk, but lately I've really been making an effort not to eat 'junk'. I don't know, I sure my definition of junk will surely differ from someone else's definition. But lately...the whole candy and chocolate thing has been cut from my diet and no cola, at all. But I still eat at Wendy's and Burger King...I guess I chose right.

Though I have never heard this before, I totally agree. No offence kitty at all. I see where you are coming from but seriously... I have a son and go to school full time and can afford time and money to cook. Its much cheaper for us. We NEVER EVER get to eat out :(

I still stand by my statement...as a full time student with volunteer jobs, a play, three part time jobs and a decent amount of debt I don't have enough time to sleep, let alone take the time to prepare food I'd like. I could buy a bag of carrots for about the same cost as a 99 cent cheeseburger.
I have to agree with Kitty here. I tried to cook a meal the other night and it was a pain in the butt. It took more time to prepare then to eat.

I'm a bit torn here. I've lived both lives, cooking all my own food, and eating take-out every day, and as such, I can see both sides. Gracie makes a good point. It can be cheaper to cook for yourself, but only if you have the time to, and if you don't have a knack for cooking, taking the time to do it can negate any savings in terms of money. However, it can also be cheaper to eat out regularly. Granted, it's often not as healthy as home-cooking, but it's simple, can be fairly cheap if you want it to be, and generally fits better into most people's days. Given the time, I prefer to cook my own food, but I've had times where that wasn't at all possible.
Oh man, I am by far no great cook. I swear it takes me a total of 30 min nightly to prepare dinner for my family. hehe I always laugh at myself too cause its usually nothing special and noone complains. Its sooo sweet. I think maybe I just have it down, due to the fact I have had many years to practice.
I'm big on cooking. I feel a lot more safe with the fact that I prepared my own food, and didn't have to worry about some pimply grill-kiddie dropping crumbled cockroach into my tacos. Besides, home-cooked meals are usually more nutritious than take-out. I can't say much for the fattening part though, my food's been known to stick to the ribs every once in a while. But, there's nothing more gratifying than seeing the satisfaction of another person as they chow down on the stuff that you cooked and they realize that it's really fucking good.
Every once in a while, there's still the occasional craving for a double-meat Whataburger with bacon, cheese, and extra veggies...*fights the urge*
i eat junk, ever since i started working two jobs and going to school at the same time, and running errands, doing chores and trying to still have a social life, its easy just to buy a candy bar at the gas station, or cereal, or something super fast to make, which is usually junk. I crave real food, healthy food, more than i do the stupid junk food.

Junk, junk, and more junk. I'm bad. Everything I eat is fried crap, baby corn dogs....I made them yesterday w/toothpicks in them. No sweets, but junk. Actually I made a grilled salmon steak today on the grill and I pop a multivitamin. "What are veggies?" Ah, I have rolled taco's w/Herdez salsa(hot) The grub.

I eat a lot of chips, probably too much, but I also eat a lot of pasta and chicken dishes.
If its pasta or chicken I'll eat it :) and enjoy it too.
I'm really picky about my food, well everything come to think about it :)
If I like something its about the biggest compliment you could ever receive from me :)
