Morning Picker Upper

I love my coffee. The day just doesn't start without my cup of java. Right now I have a large vanilla hazelnut blend and a VanillaFrapiccino. What do you drink to wake you up?

I used to drink coffee, a lot of it. So I quit, and switched to soda. I drank nothing but soda & liquor for a few years. Then I decided that the way I feel blah all the time might be due to dehydration, and I've slowly weaned myself off of soda. Now I drink water 90% of the time. I can't tell that the hydration has done anything for me, but it sure is cheaper :)

Diet coke in the am (and pm for that matter) for me. I've never liked coffee or tea.

Well, when I'm working, it's usually a cup of coffee or 12 to get my day started. Since I've been at school for the last couple of months, I've pretty much given that up, as my classes are so dull that I don't bother waking up for them, I just show up, and go back to sleep... Seriously...

12?!? Oh my! I may have two or three on the weekend. But that's throughout the day.

There was a point when I was working graveyard (11PM-7AM) where I would have 6-12 Extra Large Coffee's every night, just to stay awake. I was stressed out, and was getting only 2-3 hours of sleep during the day, so that when I had to work at night, I wanted to sleep. Caffeine was the only reason I didn't fall asleep on the job (any more than I did already, that is...)

That's one reason it was good that I was working Graveyard, it was so quiet that it didn't matter if I went to the bathroom every 15 minutes...
