I got my wine, damn it. It took me calling all over and looking all over before I found it... with the people who make it :whome:. Not only did they send it to the local wine shop, but the same day! I was so excited that I bought 6 bottles. PS: Guess what I'm giving away for Christmas.
I think that holidays are good for sitting back and taking a lok at what you have. Sure, it's fun to dress up as a squa and, well... nevermind. The holidays are one of the few times where family and friends get together and thank eachother for being there. I have some incredible friends and am thankful every day. But sometimes life takes over and you forget to appreciate the little things that make your life enjoyable. While I don't trivialize peoples' problems, it's nice to put into perspective how lucky we are compared to some people in this world. For everything that we don't have, there are ten things that we do compared to someone else. As you are stuffing your faces and looking around at the dysfunction you call family... remember what you have and smile before bitching about how the mashed potatoes are cooked the way you like. And before telling a grandparent that you've heard that story a million times, remember that there will be a day when they won't be there to tell you. And some stories are told because they like to remember their life. Give them that. And I appreciate all the support I have gotten from all of you, and the emails too. So be safe and I will see you soon.
