I personally think that is what life is for. To ask yourself that life long question about why we are here and what happens when we die. Only because it takes your entire life to hope and pray and ask only to find out that you will never find out until your dead :)

I've asked myself what I believe on a consistent basis. I tend to come up with the Popeye answer. (I am what I am and thats all I am.) I've wandered across countless that have no idea of self. Yes, that is what I would consider to be unhealthy.

I think we should all at least know what we believe.... even though it will differ from person to person. it gives one a sort of self satisfaction to "know " where one comes from. At least, it works for me :)

it never ceases to amaze me how many people don't know what they believe. I truely couldn't live with that.

I dont know what I believe and I am so ok with it. I have fought for years wondering and researching religions and asking questions but it never seemed to get me anywhere. It always ended up that noone knew the answer and I couldnt find one. I am ok with not knowing because truthfully what you believe in could be wrong..... it might not be but it could be

How ironic. I just had a pre Turkey day w/my boyfriends folks and his mom told me to find Jesus. Well, since I have a buddha, I guess I did. Then my adopted parents are Jewish, my bio-logical parents are lutherine, so I turn to Bob....and go w/the fuck? Zen can teach you alot and is hard hard...I like to kill ants if they are in my kitchen....or maybe a big ass cockroach who could be my long lost mom who I didn't get to meet, who actually had the chance cause w/my shit.....you can possibly make it to 80. Cause Zen is right, tomorrow is un-sure, and you have to drop the leaves of the doors of perception and the lotus to get to the real bottom of you as a baby, w/o all the things that can build the WALL. And open the doors..(like a baby)..and make you the person who you are, but the real inner you. Shit. Zen says also not to teach, but to let people learn for themselves. Shit. Oh, well....? I am strong in my faith, although I am always open to others. I don't preach and I don't take kindly to preaching. I believe that whatever you take in your heart to be true should never be used to deny others their right to their beliefs.

I do not believe in preaching door to door, nor do I approve of those fire and brimstone preachers on the corner. While religion is good as far as teaching morals, I do not believe a child should be forced into their beliefs.
