Closest I ever came was getting 4 out of 6 in the lottery. My first four came out in order. Then the last two were off by one.

Had 13 out of 13 soccer games correct..waited for the money to pour in but it turned out that 500.000 others had that too..

I had all my bills paid and current, no credit debt.... just rent and eletric and food, kids of course but no car payment and a good running car at that....

it was paradise....
and I hope to get there soon again.

now lets see...getting hit by lightning...yeah just as i thought...i have a better chance of that than i do winning for life....oh well

In the late 70's I had heard about this movie that was coming out soon that would inspire millions to watch it. I decided to find out who the parent company of the production was and it turned out to be 20th Century Fox. I started following them on the stock exchange pre-release of the film. The stock was bouncin' around 14 to 16 and I mentioned to my dad that I felt this stock would be a good one to buy into. He patted me on the back and said "Well I think you should track this stock and chart it to see how it performs." I did, and it kept a minimal but steady gain so I mentioned that he should buy in. He never did. The movie premiered and the stock shot up into the mid 70's. He was shocked and I had the pleasure of sayin' "I told you so." for years. Oh,,,,,The movie????? Star Wars. That was once, I got close yet again a couple of years ago when my wife's company went from below 10 a share to 144. From there it rode down quickly with all other tech stocks to be trading today around 5 I kept saying sell and she kept saying that it would come back. Yeah right!:rolleyes: Oh well,,,,,its only monaaaaay.
