I just got thew gift set last night and the new version is awsome. Better then the theatrical release. There are also 4 different commentary tracks inclusing the actors. Even if you have the first one buy it. I actually received the gift set with the book ends, they are incrdible looking.

A&E had a biography of J.K. Rowling on last night. Way cool. I've got the early LOTR edition. The latest comes with bookends?? What are they made from? Resin I would suppose. oh and what are they?

The bookends are resin. They are the great kings you see along the river. THey are awsome.

They come with the gift set, which is more than just the 4 disc.

Andie, way wrong. The are some beautiful shots. Without giving them away. There is additional 30 monutes plus that helps the plot, helps fill in gaps and makes it a much more complete movie.
